There are more Hairstylists in the U.S. than there are Doctors or Police Officers. Yet, this industry has been traditionally overlooked & left out of professional career platforms that enable upward mobility. HANDSOME empowers hairstylists, barbers and make-up artists to create the careers of their wildest dreams.

Our mission is to advance the Underdog: Indigenous people, people of color, women and LGBTQIA peoples. The beauty industry is 90% female, 66% Black and Latinx, and it is a leading industry in diversity where Indigenous peoples and people of color have a high opportunity to forge their own path through entrepreneurship. We are committed to creating new career pathways, opportunities and uplifting the economic well-being for these populations of people.
